Second Wind Retreat, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity that supports the operation and maintenance of a comfortable cottage retreat overlooking the North Georgia mountains.
Located two hours north of Atlanta on a road that ends in the Chattahoochee National Forest, this rent-free retreat is offered exclusively to people who are going through cancer treatment and recovery. It is available through medical referrals.
Second Wind Retreat is a place to relax for a while – breathe the fresh mountain air, walk country roads and National Forest trails, sit by the creek, maybe catch a fish in the trout stream...and just completely get away from hospitals, doctors' offices and IVs for a few days. |
